We Are Home

After about 9 hours of driving (the last hour of which was in traffic), we are back home. We’ve been gone for 3 weeks. Our vacation was a blast, but I am exhausted. Fortunately, we have the weekend to try to get things in order.

When we left southwestern Florida on Wednesday, it was sunny and in the 80s. When we arrived home this evening, the ground was covered in snow and ice and it felt like it was in the 20s out.

But it still feels good to be home.
