Some Housekeeping Notes

I managed to scrape out a few hours of sleep here and there today and am finally (as of two o’clock in the afternoon!) feeling like I can start to get some work done. So, here are a few administrative notes:

  • Yes, I am now officially behind in my NaNoWriMo writing. I made great strides the first week, and was then overcome by events. At present, I am 3,600 words below par, but I hope to make some of that up today and tomorrow.
  • WordPress released JetPack 2.0, which I have now installed. One of the new features is the ability to share posts directly with Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and other social media outlets, instead of having to use 3rd party plug-ins. I have enabled some of these and am testing them out, so if you see unusual stuff, especially on the social media side of things, that is why.
  • I will be writing up a post on my experience getting to visit Evernote’s headquarters, but I’m putting my fiction-writing first in the priority queue so you may have to wait a day or two.

That’s it for the housekeeping. I have one more announcement, but it deserves a post all its own.
