This week

The Little Miss is scheduled to arrive on Friday and so my usual posting may be off kilter somewhat what we prepare for her arrival. Most of the preparation is done at this point. Her room is mostly setup now. The Little Man’s room looks much more like a little boy’s room as opposed to a toddler’s room. Tomorrow, I have blocked off my calendar at work to prevent interruptions so that I can focus on some documentation I need to finish that will help other folks when I am on leave for a month.

Assuming things stay on schedule, expect a post sometime late Friday morning announcing the arrival of the Little Miss. After that, I don’t know what the post schedule will look like, although I can tell you that Episode 22 of my Vacation in the Golden Age will be out on its normal schedule… meaning it will be posted next Sunday evening. The same is true for the next Wayward Time Traveler column.

We have gotten used to our routine here and so it will be interesting to see how the introduction of the Little Miss into our household shakes things up. The Little Man is already highly skeptical of the whole affair.

At any rate, if things are a bit more quiet here on the blog; if it takes me longer than usual to respond to comments, to email, to tweets, etc., please understand it’s not because I am ignoring you. I’m doing the best I can, really.

  1. I don’t know, taking time off from blogging just for the birth of a child? Seems selfish.

Just kidding! Tell the Little Miss we say hello. 🙂

  2. Thanks, Paul! (See what I did there, I said I might be slow at responding to comments and I responded to this one first thing Monday morning. 😉 )
