A story-a-month

I haven’t been doing as well as I’d like on the story-a-month front, but I hope to get back to it this evening.  I’d like to get at least one scene a day done on the “March” story, and have the first draft done in the next twelve days or so.  I like this story and I think it can be a good one, I’ve just got to get back to it.  I think the first scene (already written) may be too long or too slow for an opener, but I’m not going to worry about it until I’ve got the entire draft done.  If I can get the March story completely wrapped up in April, I’ll be pretty happy.  The planned “April” story is shorter and depending on how well the March story goes, I may have that one wrapped up in early May.

Shrimp scampi for dinner tonight.  Got to get it started in a few minutes.  I started watching episode 2 of Cosmos while waiting for Kelly after work.  Probably will finish it tonight after (a) writing and before (b) turning to I. Asimov to close off the day.

Also looking forward to taking a walk after dinner.
