Hump-day

Busy day at the office today. At one point during the day, I think I was doing 5 things at once. I was in a phone meeting, eating a sandwich, replying to an urgent email, participating in a IM meeting, and jotting notes on my whiteboard, all more or less at the same time.

A few more packages when I arrived home: one was a wedding gift, the other was a new kitty-litter furniture thing that Kelly ordered. Also, the annual fire inspection took place today, finally, while we were at work.

This evening, we headed out to Annapolis to meet with the ex-priest who will be officiating our wedding. We met at Rockfish (where the rehearsal dinner will take place). What a nice guy! He’s no longer a priest because he got married and recently celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary. He was great, just what we were hoping for. We planned out most of what we want forbr> the ceremony. There are still a few details to hash out but he said we are in great shape.

And did I mention that the food was excellent!

Two more critiques done for the workshop today. I’m about 130 pages through Old Man’s War. I think I’m going to have to order the other two books in the series.
