Strings

After work yesterday, I stopped home to pick up Kelly and then returned to the office in order to hear one of my coworkers (and softball teammates) play violin in my office. She will be playing at our wedding ceremony and she wanted to let us listen to a variety of music that can be played at various points in the ceremony. Some were the standard, traditional pieces. Others were not. They were all terrific, however, and there’s something to be said about having someone play violin in ones little office. It sounded great there, and we’re told it will sound even better in the atrium where the ceremony will be held.

Kelly took notes and started to identify which songs should be played at which parts of the ceremony. With our usual decisiveness on such things, we were able to check another item off the list.

And hearing the violin has got me listening to classical music this morning while I work.
