Thursday strength workout

I’ve eased my way back into cardio and today I began easing my way back into strength training. But it by no means seemed easy. I felt like I was starting way back at the beginning. Knowing my penchant for overdoing it, I tried to keep it light, but not too light. I did 2 full groups instead of three (or four). For the most part, I stayed at the weights that I left off, but in some cases, I had to dumb it down a bit.

I did a total of just over 5,000 lbs. today. I’m sure I’ll feel it tomorrow. I was barely able to life my arms above my head in the shower afterward. And we have our first softball game of the season this evening; I’m hoping my strength returns by then.

It did, however, feel good to be back at it.
