The problem is, I’m all worked up

So it’s 12:54 AM, I have to get up in about 3-1/2 hours and I’m wired. This isn’t caffeine, mind you. I’m caffeine-free for the last 4 years. This is mentally wired. The kind of work that I’ve been doing the last two days is all mental, fires the coals in the brain and it takes them a long time to cool down, even though I’m more or less done with what I have to do. So when I turned the light off tonight, feeling exhausted, I was tired, but sleep just isn’t coming. The fires have yet to cool off.
