Workout #99 (Cardio)

Yes, another cardio workout. No strength training yet for two reasons: (a) I tell myself I’m easing back into things and (b) I’m lazy. But I’ll get there. To make up for it, I really pushed myself today on the elliptical, setting a pace of 150 calories every 10 minutes, which would be a record for me. And I did it!

40 minutes on the elliptical. I burned 606 calories, went a distance of 3.24 miles, and maintained a pace of 85 RPM with a peak of 103 RPM.

How about that! 606 calories is a record for me in 40 minutes time, as is the distance of just about 3-1/4 miles. It was tough but it felt good to do it.
