After over three weeks of skipping the gym, I finally got back on the wagon yesterday at lunch, doing my first full cardio workout in nearly a month. It went pretty well, and I felt good through the whole workout, but I’ve got a ways to go before I’m back to the condition I was in a few months ago.
40 minutes on the elliptical. I burned 574 calories, went a distance of 3.07 miles, and maintained a pace of 84 RPM with a peak of 117 RPM.
I decided that getting up at 4:30 AM wasn’t working for me. My days were just too short, especially as it gets lighter later. So I’m now trying to get to the gym at lunchtime, or if I can’t make it at lunch then immediately after work. I made it yesterday and I’m planning on going to the gym at lunch today. I’m hoping this means I’m back on track.
