Up at 4:30 AM and into the gym by 5:55. I tried my experiment again last night, covering up my clock so I can’t see the time, and once again, I slept pretty well. I woke up twice that I know, but got back to sleep pretty quickly. It did feel good to get back to the gym today, and hopefully this is the first step toward getting back on track.
40 minutes on the elliptical. I burned 569 calories, went a distance of 3.05 miles, and maintained a pace of 84 RPM with a peak of 97 RPM.
It actually felt pretty easy, even after not doing a workout in a week or so, and I’m thinking I need to consider raising the level on the elliptical so that there is some additional resistance. I may experiment with this later in the week.
Tomorrow morning is chest and back.
