Workout #88 (Cardio)

After 10 days off from workouts, I was back in the saddle first thing this morning. I was up at 4:30 AM (after going to bed later than I would have liked) and I was into the gym by 5:50 AM. It was still warm out this morning, relative to how the temperatures have been lately, and it felt good to be out in the fresh morning air.

40 minutes on the elliptical. I burned 556 calories, went a distance of 2.99 miles, and and maintained a pace of 81 RPM with a peak of 111 RPM.

I had a bit of pain in my right knee, but nothing to keep me from finishing the workout. Also, 17 minutes in, I got one of the worst cramps in my side that I have gotten thus far. I pushed through it, but it took five minutes before it was completely gone.

Regardless, it felt good to be back on track, and th 40 minutes on the elliptical flew by; I was still thinking about this weekend, and about my work on NextLife.
