I did my best to keep to my routine yesterday and that meant that I was in bed at about 8:30 PM. I keep my phone on “vibrate” and leave it in the kitchen, besides, so I never know when someone calls me at night until the next morning. This morning, I had a record four voicemail message when I woke up.
There was a message from rubysnina, wishing me a happy birthday. There was another message from AJ, also wishing me a happy birthday. There was a hilarious message from Dan and Megan, wishing me a happy birthday. And there was a message from Doug wishing me a happy birthday, and teasing me for going to bed at 8:30 PM. (You try getting up at 4:25 AM every morning!) In fact, Ruby even wished me a happy birthday, which was so cute!
When I got into work this morning, I had a e-card from Cathy, as well as an email message from Beth, both wishing me happy birthday.
Birthdays always fly by and before you know it, the next day has arrived, but I enjoyed my day yesterday and was really taken aback by all of the birthday wishes I received. What a lucky fellow I am!
