Workout #74 (Cardio)

Up at 4:30 and into the gym by 5:50 AM. This was the first full cardio workout that I’ve done since getting sick. In fact, my last full cardio workout was back on March 7 so it’s been nearly 2 weeks since I’ve gotten a full cardio workout in. It felt good to get it in this morning

40 minutes on the elliptical this morning. I burned 561 calories and went a distance of 3.01 miles. I hit a peak of 96 RPM and a pace of 81 RPM. After cardio, I did a group of exercises in prep for my workout tomorrow.

Group 1 1st Set 2nd Set 3rd Set
------- ------- ------- -------
Chest press 12/115 12/115 6/125
Bench dips 12 12 12
Crunches 30 30 35

I’ve also started back on track for eating well again. I’ve got my meals (all five) planned out for today, tomorrow and half of Wednesday. I’m going to have to wing it some while in Orlando, but that’s okay.

My right knee was a little sore about 25 minutes into the workout this morning, but I made some adjustments and it didn’t get any worse and there is no pain at the moment which is good. It really did feel good to get the workout in this morning!
