Workout #56 (cardio)

I finally got my lazy butt to the gym this long weekend and did a full cardio workout this afternoon. I had to go to the Greenbelt gym, and it was more crowded than I expected, but the weight room was pretty empty. It felt good to get in a workout.

40 minutes on the elliptical this morning. I managed a record 591 calories, and a distance of 3.16 miles. I reached a peak RPM of 105. My pace was a record 87 RPM. After cardio, I did a group of chest exercises exercises in prep for my workout tomorrow.

The last set of leg lifts were actually “knee-ins” because I didn’t want to get myself as sore as I did the last time. Back to work tomorrow and a full chest workout is on tap. Today’s workout, incidentally, is the first workout of my second workout notebook. I filled up all 75 pages of the first workout notebook last week and started the second one today. This one should get me well into May.
