Work but not workout

I was up at 4:30 AM and into the office by 5:40. However, I skipped my cardio workout this morning. I managed to acquire a rather nasty stomach ache on the train ride into work this morning. I don’t know about you, but I don’t workout well–especially cardio–with a stomach ache. So although this means that I’ve now missed my workout three days in a row, I decided it was for the best. In the meantime, I have an extra hour or so to get caught up on some of what I missed the last few days.

Got paid today and put about half of my pay into savings for a change, which is nice because I’ve been spending so much money lately that the only money I have been saving has been retirement.

I am, fortunately, caught up on most of the email I missed because I’d been checking email periodically throughout the day while I was out of the office. I wish the same could be said for meetings. I have non-stop meetings (5 of them) beginning at 11 AM and running until 3:30 PM.
