Progress on “Stairway to Heaven”

I wrote about 700 words of “Stairway to Heaven” this afternoon, and while I was working out, the story structure began to fall into place. I think it can be a good story, but I am trying to keep this one pretty short; under 6,000 words if I can manage it.
