Workout #31 (Cardio)

Lights were out before 9 last night and I actually got a pretty decent night’s sleep. I was in the middle of a deep sleep (and dream) when my alarm went off at 4:25 AM. I was into the gym by 5:55 for my cardio workout.

40 minutes on the elliptical this morning. I burned 540 calories, went a distance of 2.88 miles and reached a peak RPM of 111. After cardio, I did a group of arm and shoulder exercises in prep for my workout tomorrow.

Bernard had his 6 AM appointment tomorrow cancel so I am going to work out with him tomorrow morning. This will be the first time since I started these early morning workouts that I will have hit the gym every weekday morning for a week. (I usually go once in the afternoon to work out with Bernard.)

And I’m really starting to notice some changes. When I was getting dressed this morning I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror as I was putting my shirt on and I was impressed (if I do say so myself) with how my arms and shoulders are looking. And the abs are coming along, too.
