Workout #8 (Cardio)

I normally do my cardio workouts MWF afternoon, but Comcast is coming to the house this evening to deliver the digital DVR so I was up at 4:30 AM and into the gym at 6 AM.


I did 40 minutes on the elliptical machine, burning 504 calories and going 2.70 miles. The carido playlist is great for that workout. Also, since tomorrow is chest and back strength training, I did my usual set after cardio in preparation.

I keep missing the first train and that means I don’t get down here until about 10 minutes to 6, which throws off my schedule a little because I want to get started at or before 6 AM. I know I’m missing it by just a few minutes so I’m going to adjust my alarm time to 4:25 AM on mornings when I work out. I’m also taking a slightly alternate route to the metro station in the morning. At 5 AM, there is one light that you can sit at for 10 minutes (no exaggeration–an impatient person just ended up driving through it this morning!)
