I stuck to my plan for the most part–everything except the writing and getting to bed at 8:30 PM. This is mainly due to logistics and I’m going to have to make some adjustments in order to get this worked out, but I was pleased with my progress today. I ate 5 meals today, none large but none tiny. I did 40 minutes of cardio at the gym (minor knee pain at 28 minutes) and my new cardio playlist is timed perfectly for it. I also did one full group of upper body work. Tomorrow morning the plan is to do chest and back.
By the time I got home from work it was 6:30 and by the time I’d finished dinner it was after 7 PM. If I started writing right then and there, it would have consumed the rest of the night. As it was, I had to pack my lunch for the next day, clean the dishes, shower, etc. It’s 9:21 PM right now–almost an hour later than I wanted to be in bed. So I’ll be making some adjustments to the schedule over the next few days in order to make it more reasonable. Overall, however, I think I did a pretty good job. I felt like I was eating all day, but I was never stuffed and never hungry, which is good. And I drank 2.5 liters of water.
I’m off to bed now. I’ve got to get up at 4:30 AM for the morning workout.
