Gloomy morning

It’s a pretty gloomy, almost fall-like morning today. I took today off because Mom is in town and we were going to head into Annapolois, but we are waiting to see what the weather is going to be like for the rest of the day.

I’m about 1/4 way through Fritz Leiber’s The Wanderer and it’s slowing down on me a bit. I don’t know if I’ll have the patience to finish it up. I may bail on it today and start on something else.

I’m not going to say anything about the fact that today is 9/11. It’s all you hear about when you turn on the news and the blogsphere is overflowing with 9/11 stories and sentiment (although I was pleased to see that Ken Jenning’s made no mention of it on his blog this morning). I can’t add anything new to what people are saying, and frankly, I don’t believe that anyone else can either.
