Writing on the bus

I just got about 1,600 words written on the bus ride back to D.C. I wrote section 9 of “The Graveyard Shift”, which is the beginning of Part III of the story. This part of the story begins to tie the various characters together as the mystery deepens. I was surprised I was able to write so much on the bus, but I think I did a pretty good job. The story now stands just shy of 10,000 words and I have a very good idea in my head of how the remaining sections of this part will go. I’m looking forward to writing these sections this week.
