Travel day

I was up at 5:30 AM Pacific Time and slept fitfully thereafter until 6:30 AM. There was a small problem with the hotel bill (they charged me to a day of parking and I don’t even have a car) but it was corrected quickly. I grabbed a taxi to the airport and was at the gate about an hour before boarding time. LAX was a little more busy than I normally see on a Sunday morning, but there was no delay at security. I was through in 2 minutes.

It was a very full flight today. I watched the most recent episode of Battlestar Galactica on the plane. It was a very good episode. I listend to the iPod for almost the entire flight. I also played some solitaire.

A lot of solitaire gets played on airplanes. At least by me. It passes the time. I noticed people doing various puzzles. I wonder how much real work gets done on airplanes.

The flight arrived about half an hour early and I was home by 5:30 PM.

Zeke was glad to see me, I think. He’s been pretty vocal all evening. Did the grocery shopping and laundry and now I’m watching the 4th quarter of the Superbowl, hoping that Seattle can score again and win the game in the next 10 minutes of play.
