What @ThinkUp Has to Say About My Week

This has been another busy week for me, so I haven’t been able to play around with ThinkUp as much as I wanted. ThinkUp went live to its early bird supporters, of which I was one, on Wednesday. For those who don’t know, ThinkUp is a new service created by Gina Trapani and Anil Dash that makes social media analytics “for real people.” It is a wicked cool service for folks like me who are interesting in personal analytics.

ThinkUp is just getting started in the features it offers, but this morning when I logged in, it had a pretty cool summary of my week on social media, so I thought I’d share that with you so could see the kind of data the comes out of ThinkUp and how it is cast in a friendly and interesting light.

ThinkUp grabs other interesting tidbits as well, for instance, it noted my Twitter conversation with Fred Kiesche a few days back:

I like that. It’s a positive way of looking at the time you spend online, as opposed to just thinking of it as “being online.”

ThinkUp also lets you know when your Tweets help out others, as for instance this retweet I made last week for Mike Dariano’s 27 Good Thing’s blog:

So far, I think what ThinkUp is trying to do is very cool. But then again, Gina Trapani is always involved in useful projects (she started Lifehacker, and created the best to-do list app out there,). I look forward to seeing what else ThinkUp will think up next.
